One of the primary activities we are involved in is building doghousese for backyard dogs with no shelter or those who are chained.  The number of dogs in our community who have no shelter any time of year and are left outside in the elements is astonishing.  So as we recieve reports of dogs in this situation, we build and deliver a doghouse.  While we are there, we offer advice to the owners who'll listen on how to improve the care of their animal. As you can imagine, the simple matter of some shelter can dramatically improve the quality of a dog's life.
